How are you all? How did sports day go? It was such a shame we didn’t have nicer weather for it but I hope you all got out and did a little bit! Can you believe it’s the last week of 2nd class?!! I can’t believe you’ll all be 3rd class next time I see you!
Seing as it’s the last week you can take it easy. I’ll pop up a little bit here for you if you want something to be doing but take it easy! You more than deserve it at this stage! Don’t forget you can always just hop onto IXL if you want some extra bits.

Abair liom p142-Make up your own sentences on this page. Use the word boxes to help you. I know some peoples books might have p143 blacked out so we might leave it for this year. If it’s not blacked out feel free to give it a go!

Wednesday 24th June
Good morning everyone!!
I hope you’re all ready for a day of fun! Before we start off a very big happy birthday to Aoife McCormack! I hope you have a great day Aoife and eat lots of sweets! You can imagine us all singing happy birthday to you!
Also, don’t forget guys to drop your Wild Explorers reader back to school in a bag with your name on it! I’m also still missing one Giggler treatment, I’m fairly certain it’s a girl who has it and if your name starts with an L or an S would you mind having a look at home for me please and thank you! I’m 99% certain one you of you have it and I’ll need to return them to the library
Sooooo today we’re going on a virtual school tour. I’m hoping and praying the links work and if they do you can even go exploring further if you want. The most important thing you need today is your imagination! First stop involves taking a plane so make sure you have your passport ready for boarding.
Hope everyone enjoyed the flight, I could see some of you falling asleep and someone was definitely snoring!
First stop on today’s tour is Disney and we’re going on my favourite ride, Thunder mountain! Then the raging rapids, and if we have time maybe Tron. Hold on tight
I think I’m feeling a bit sick after all of these rides!! We might need to take a break and head somewhere else before I turn green!
We better hurry or we’ll miss the plane to the next spot! Don’t forget your boarding passes!
I hope nobody is scared of wild animals, we’re off on a Safari next in South Africa. This video is so cool because it has 360 view so you can look all around you as the video plays. Follow the link here!
Whoa did you see the giraffes??!!! You could early touch those rhinos at the start they were so close and the turtles were very friendly!
And the last stop of the day is out of this world!! You get to explore the International space station! Follow the link here and you can see what it’s like for the astronauts up there!
Lads I’m so tired after that! I could sleep for a week! I hope you all had a great day and see you and your family on Zoom tomorrow for the last time this year!

Thursday 25th June
Boys and girls, it’s the very last day of 2nd class.
To say it was a pleasure to have each and every one of you in my class this year would be an understatement. You are a brilliant group of boys and girls and I will miss you all next year. I’ll have to come and visit you in 3rd class and hear all about your summer holidays!
I hope you all have a brilliant summer and enjoy all the time off with no worries and fingers crossed some nice sunny weather. You can put school to the back of your mind for a little while.
I’ll hopefully get to see you all on our monster zoom! I’m not going to say goodbye though and you can’t get rid of me that easily because we still have our Confession and First Communion to make hopefully in the autumn time and I’m very excited about it!
For now though it’s chat to you later and I’ll see you all soon!!
